McLamore Society

James W. McLamore

James W. McLamore, is synonymous with philanthropy and service. As the founder of Burger King, Coral Gables resident and committed member of the University family, McLamore helped to transform the University of Miami. Alumni and parents of the University honor the legacy of James W. McLamore by making leadership annual contributions that touch every area of the University.

Alumni and parents can become members of the James W. McLamore Society by making leadership annual gifts of $1,000 or more, designated anywhere within the University, renewed each fiscal year. These resources support student scholarships, attract and retain outstanding faculty, expand innovative academic programs, deliver groundbreaking research and health care, maintain and grow our exceptional facilities, and solidify our reputation as a force in the arts and athletics.

Members of the James W. McLamore Society are greatly appreciated as they make the largest collective impact on the University of Miami.
